My Story
Kevin Zhou founded Zia Technologies to help small to mid-sized business owners with the ever-changing and paramount technological aspects of their daily operations. He hopes to demystify the payment industry as there’s limited government regulation and many companies often mislead and lock merchants into unreasonable leases and contracts.
Kevin has been in the business service industry here in Albuquerque for nearly twenty years. He knows firsthand how hard it is for small, family-owned businesses to operate, especially with their payment processing systems, because his family owns and runs the modest Golden Eggroll Express restaurant (for nearly three decades!).
In 2008, he joined the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce as a membership specialist.
He also worked with Shamrock Foods, where he worked to service the restaurant industry. By 2013, Mr. Zhou realized that he wanted to help more merchants and customers on the costs of their operations and began working in the payment industry.
Kevin came to Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of sixteen from China, and currently resides here. He makes a mean green chili stew, which is proof that he has become a native New Mexican in his right.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family and his two younger sisters.
Today, Kevin is proud to serve hundreds of small business owners, with integrity, transparency, and excellent customer service.
